Yandex MoneyYandex Money is an electronic payment system which realizes the idea of the electronic money. It provides financial calculations between participants of the system (who opened accounts in the system) in real-time mode. Transaction currency is the Russian rouble. It is intended for guaranteeing the functioning of the electronic commerce systems. The system gives the possibility to work through web-interface or with program-wallet, installed to the user’s computer (this possibility it is accessible only to Windows users). The main office of the company is in Moscow, additional office in St.-Petersburg. The general director of the company is Evgeniy Zavalishin.Two types of accounts are used in the system: Yandex.Wallet and Internet.Wallet. The access to the first account is realized with the help of web-interface. The access to the second account is realized through the special program "Internet. Wallet". This program is for free and works under control of Windows operating system. The user depositing the account with the help of any possible ways in the system. At the moment of payment of the goods or service the system sends into the shop account electronic cash from the user's account. Having received electronic cash from the user, the shop shows them in processing center for confirmation of possibility of their reliability. Having checked up that money was not used before and are valid, processing center confirms their paying capacity to shop and sends "receipt" to the customer. Writing off of amounts from the user's account in processing center and their transfer into the shop account is simultaneously made. Having received confirmation of authenticity and fitness for use as electronic cash, the shop sends the payment receipt to the user’s wallet and bring into action of service or goods delivering. All these procedures are made almost instantly and unnoticeable for the user. With the help of Yandex.Money it is possible to do on-line shopping, pay a telecommunication and housing and communal services, do payments in welfare funds. The system developers have made special buttons «Give rouble», «Give three» and «Give five», which any person can put on the web site to raise money into the account – for example, on the charitable purposes. Protecting code is a way to protect a money transfer which is done by one user of the system to another. This is a random number from four figures. The addressee can get it by e-mail, SMS or by phone. The addressee will see the protected transfer at once, but can use the money only after entering a protecting code. If the recipient entered an incorrect code thrice, or payment period of validity has expired, the amounts come back to the sender. Payment period of validity is determined by the sender and can be from one day till one year. The protecting code can be used, for example, when the sender doubts that has correctly entered an account number of the addressee. To use the protecting code is for free both to the sender, and to the receiver of payment. |
